Oh man, I have a lot of things to say about this video and just the whole new Miley in general. I will start off nice. This song is super catchy and I enjoy listening to it, but I also know I would like it a lot more if it wasn't Miley singing it. I don't like her playing coi when she says dancing with Molly clear as shit but puts it off as if she's saying dancing with Miley. If you're going to take it there, take it all the fucking way there. The fashion and the video is fun, the only authentic thing to me is her "portraying" her young wild and free lifestyle that she is in the middle of living right now. I cannot buy this turnt up, bout that life, twerkin, grillin, pussy poppin on a handstand Miley Cyrus. I understand she's not with Disney and she's evolving as young adult, but really this just isn't coming off natural to me. People have been coming at her with all these comments about her being "white", which is ignorant if anything..everyone twerks, but my thing is... not too long ago Miley had a hit written by Jessie J, "Party in the USA" where there's a line referencing listening to zJay Z, in which Miley stated she's never even heard a Jay Z song and that it was just a good song to pick for her to launch her clothing line with. Well, Jessie J had heard a Jay Z song before, those lyrics were about her own experiences coming to America all the way from Essex. She had been the ironic part of this to me is now that Miley's new image has come to be, Jay Z "shouted her out?" in his track "Somewhere in America" "Somewhere in America Miley Cyrus is still twerkin" She got gassed up and went to twitter to say "call it what you want but I don't see Mr. Carter shoutin out any of you bitches" At one point she stated she doesn't even listen to that kind of music, and now she's doing remixes with French Montana, poppin her pussy on stage with Juicy J rocking grills and getting imaginary fucked from the back on a bed. I don't know, it's just a little off putting to watch her try so hard to be "bout that life".
